The best way to lose weight walking is to walk with a friend! Regular exercise leads to healty choices, and walking with a friend increases chance for success by offering motivation and companionship for walking!

OK, Halloween is upon us and I just want to remind you of some things before you rush out to Costco and buy the biggest bag of miniature snicker bars that you can find (HEHEHEHE).
Before you go and purchase your candy (if you haven’t already) make sure that you have eaten. I have made this mistake so many times. Going shopping for food hungry almost always means I will come home with some kind of junk food (its almost like it jumps into my cart) so make sure to eat before you shop.
Secondly, think about your choices. I have a friend that will only buy red hots every year to hand out. The reason why is because she doesn’t care for them at all but she still wants to participates. The other thing to think about is handing a healthy option. You can choose anything now days from pencils and play dough to granola bars and fruit roll ups. if you make a healthier choice you are not only helping others but yourself just in case you decide that you would like to have a treat.
Finally, If you are going to be doing any baking, you might think of making some low sugar hot apple cider, hot chocolate or tea to drink while you bake. For me it works perfectly to kill my sweet tooth and make me feel full.
In all of this planning ahead be sure to plan on having fun. Before you know it your planning ahead will just become second nature.

Friends are great to walk with aslong as your perspiring by the end of walk. I like
counting by two to keep me busy.
