When it comes to a new diet, what do you look for in a weight loss plan? Instant gratification in your new diet? (That’s probably why rich people think of liposuction!) Or when you are looking for a new diet, are you in it for the long haul? There are so many considerations in a best diet plan, so it’s good to have a beginning point when you’re looking at a new diet. That’s a lot simpler than you might think, because every new diet starts at the same point, with YOU! Be your own best friend, and take care of yourself to the best of your ability. Weight loss diets are as numerous as people and places. Take the time to get at the root of the problem, and it will be time well spent. Assuming you’ve seen your physician, and gotten the green light to select a new diet, what’s right for you?
A new diet consists of several key elements. Getting down to basics, look at the who, what, when, where, how and why. (Sound like basic english class? LOL!)
- Who – You! (Your own best friend!)
- What – A New Diet
- When – Now! (Of course! If we could make it yesterday we would!)
- Where – Where ever we are. This is not a physical place in the sense of where we live geographically, it’s a physical place in the sence of where we live spiritually, emotionally, and in our body.
- How – With help and support. We’re not alone if we reach out for help and accept it. We deserve to take the best care of ourselves possible, and we deserve healthy help from others.
- Why – We each have our own why. Take the time to look deep into this question, and we’ll have the motivation to create a new diet, start it, and follow through to success.
