You’re not alone when you’re considering a quick diet in your rapid weight loss diets plan!

When is a quick diet appropriate?  What is a quick diet, anyway?  Does that mean that we’re ready to start a new diet, and want to be quick to start a new diet?  That might be ok…..  Or does it mean that we want to lose weight rapidly?  In that sense, it might not be ok.  What does a quick diet mean?  Let’s assume that you know why you want to diet, know how you got to the place where you need to diet, know what your motivation to diet is, and your’re ready to start.  Does quick diet come to mind?  Is that a motivational issue?  You’re ready to go, and want to be quick about it?  Excellent!  When motivation meets action, results are possible.  That’s your best dieting plan! If you’ve had your physical with your doctor, gotten the green light to proceed, selected which of the weight loss diets that’s good for you, with your doctor’s approval, then by all means, a quick diet is right for you!  Now, if you’re thinking of a quick diet to lose weight rapidly, please slow down and think carefully before you launch a quick weight loss diet!  You probably didn’t gain weight rapidly, and, in general, rapid weight loss has many negative health risks!  Each person is an individual, and deserving of a personalized diet.  Each human body is a complex organic machine, fueled by infinate interactions on a hormonal and chemical level.  What’s your human machine doing?  We consume our fuel with food and liquids.  We convert the available nutrition to maintain our bodies, and store excess fuel.  If we tamper with the processes without a healthy understanding of how our unique human machine operates, we could seriously disrupt our physical and emotional well being.  So please, if you are thinking of a quick diet for rapid weight loss, consider carefully why you want this, and what impact it will have on you.  Discuss this with your support group – your physician, nutritionist, counselor, and best friend.  Be good to yourself, you deserve the best weight loss program, which may not be a quick diet!
