The normal way to go about making frozen yogurt is in a machine, but you can make it in a blender in much the same way. There is nothing complicated about it.
- Blend 1 cup water, 2 cups plain yogurt and 1 cup of a filling of your choice.
- Add more water to get the right consistency and to thin it out and also add in a teaspoon of vanilla extract for a little added flavor. Store it in the freezer in an air tight container that is made for the freezer. A few hours should be long enough to freeze your yoghurt.
You can also use an ice-cream machine and this will ensure that no ice-crystals form in the yogurt, which sometimes happens in the freezer if the container you are using is not sealed completely . Use the same recipe because this is tried and tested. This is also good because it is suitable for diabetics.
