There are not that many healthy chocolate mousse or caramel cheesecake recipes out there. Sometimes, however it is just about attitude and it is more about how you open your mind to new ways with food.</p>
<p>By using your imagination you will be able to make simple healthy dessert recipes in no time at all that are as tasty as something containing pure fat and sugar. The best thing is that you will feel a lot better after eating something healthy because of the after affects it has on your body.</p>
<p>I love frozen yogurt. I really only tasted this when I went to Israel for a gap year and there was a special frozen yogurt shop that specialized in in. I became addicted. Toppings and flavorings that you can add are absolutely endless. Here you can just use your imagination. Turning something ordinary into a  healthy fruit dessert recipe is a great idea.</p>
<p>The normal way to go about making frozen yogurt is in a machine, but you can make it in a blender in much the same way. There is nothing complicated about it.</p>

I do not know why I still crave after eating a heavy meal. When I mean heavy, it has 3 to 4 cups of rice in a meal and one viand. I do not take my breakfast if it is not served with rice. I cannot live my life without rice on my plate. I am not really on sweets or on snacks. Every two hours, once I hear a different sound coming from my stomach, Uh-oh, I have to go to a nearby eatery not to take snacks but to eat rice.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The following article is a guest post about herniated disc surgery for back pain written by a friend that writes for a blog which discusses spinal problems.  I thought it was interesting and reprinted it here for you to read.  I have had spinal surgery in my neck, and had two discs fused.  It was an emergency surgery, the bulging material was displacing the spinal canal, at risk of severing or injuring it, which could cause paralysis.  I&#8217;m lucky, an ear nose and throat doctor that was doing pre-op testing for a routine sinoplasty and deviated septum surgery saw the herniated disc in my neck in the tests that he ordered.  I have a rare condition that causes me to not feel and process pain signals well, so I wasn&#8217;t aware of the neck problem.  Needless to say, I went in for the spinal fusion right away, within days of the diagnosis.  I healed well, but had allergies to medicines taken after the surgery.  It was a difficult recovery, but I&#8217;m now symptom free.</p>
<p>Another thought comes to mind about a friend that was facing herniated disc surgery for back pain.  She had very bad back pain, and needed surgery.  She was morbidly overweight, at least <a title="200 lbs overweight" href="http://walkweightoff.com">200 pounds overweight</a>, and her surgeon was not able to perform the back surgery due to her weight.  She chose the lap band surgery, and other than a huge problem with excess skin after the surgery, she had a good outcome.  It reduced her pain level considerably, and she actually chose to continue her rigorous exercise program rather than have herniated disc surgery for back pain. </p>
<h2>What Is A Herniated Disc?</h2>
<p>A herniated disc occurs when a sliver of a dislodged spinal disc is pressing against the nerves that connect to the spinal cord, or against the spinal cord.</p>
<p>A surgical procedure called <a href="http://spinaldecompressionmachines.net/herniated-disc-surgery/">Herniated disc surgery</a> or open discectomy takes about an hour which is fairly short, but depending on how badly the disc is herniated and also on the size of the patient, this may take longer. This procedure is tradional surgery and sometimes called Open discectomy, as after first making a small incision the surgeon then assesses how much of the disc is herniated.</p>
<p>The surgery for <a href="http://spinaldecompressionmachines.net/herniated-disc-treatment/">herniated disc treatment</a> is a quick and easy procedure normally taking an hour. The surgeon makes a three centimetre incision in the middle of the back, the patient is under anaesthesia, and after securing the muscles and nerves away from the spine to protect these, the surgeon then performs a laminotomy. This is to remove a tiny amount of bone and ligament from the back of the spine, so that the herniated disc area can be assessed.The fragmented disc is removed, the area freed of slivers of disc which could later cause problems and then the incision is closed and bandages are applied. An overnight stay in hospital is normally the case.</p>
<p>The risks involved in this type of surgery are spinal fluid leak, bleeding and infections. These are all treatable, but will need extra time in hospital or extra surgery. Recovery from the pain of the herniated disc can sometimes be immediate, but normally it dissapates over several weeks. Pain from the surgery can be treated with medication and sitting up and walking are advised as these are gentle exercises. All strenuous excercise are to be avoided until completely healed and the doctor advises otherwise.</p>
<p>Herniated disc surgery should not be undertaken lightly, the full implications of everything involved must be discussed with your doctor beforehand. 85 to 90% of patients have had successful operations with the worst of their pains healed. A mere 10% have reoccuring symptoms. For another herniated disc reocurring the rate is 10-15%.</p>

Choose the wrong shoe and your walk or hike is likely to be cut short sooner than expected. Your footwear has to be able to withstand the rigours of the hike as well as support and protect your feet from the elements. The aim has to be to end a walk with you feet as comfortable as when you started out. The wrong choice can leave you bruised, blistered and aching!<br />

Unfortunately there is no such thing as one size fits all when it comes to choosing the right walking shoe, but as a rough guide it is a good idea to select a shoe that is as light as possible given the terrain you will be walking across. If you are likely to encounter rocks, mud, water, heat and cold then you should make sure your walking shoe is robust enough to deal with those conditions while at the same time being comfortable and offering the correct foot support. Flexibility is an important factor; your foot needs to be able to flex as you roll through a step from heel to toe and the heel part of the shoe should be relatively flat, thus providing greater stability.</p>
<p>There a lots of types of Walking Footwear:</p>
<p>1. Motion Control Hiking Boots<br />
These are a heavier rigid type of shoe which are designed to combat something called overpronation. In overpronation, the arch of the foot will flatten while walking which can cause a great deal of pressure and stress on the bottom of the foot. Motion control shoes tend to consist of a denser material on the sole where the inside of the foot is situated, and offers greater support to foot arch. Unfortunately, they have a thicker heel which can make hiking seem more arduous than is experienced with certain other types of shoe.</p>
<p>2. Stability Shoes<br />
Stability walking shoes have greater flexibility than a motion control shoe but still have a dual density midsole for support. They&#8217;re more designed for people who have a slight tendency for overpronation but they&#8217;re not as cumbersome, although they, too, have a thicker heel, so they&#8217;re uncomfortable when hiking.</p>
<p>3. Cushioned Walking Shoes<br />
If overpronation is not a problem then the cushioned walking shoe is for you. Generally this type of shoe offers the least support but they are extremely flexible. Once again, they come with a thick heel.</p>
<p>4. Lightweight Hiking and Trail Shoes Lightweight hiking boots and trail walking shoes are more designed for day hiking and shorter trips. They often come with rugged soles and are designed to be comfortable, cushioned and breathable and to have many properties similar to a walking boot.
