I received an email yesterday by one of my consistent readers:

Q: “…Hey Regev! How are you? I was wondering whether I need meal replacement shakes or not in order to achieve the same gains that you had and wrote about in that article about transformation. My friends say that there is no way you gained all of that without any powders or supplements. Prove them wrong please, I don’t have the money for that ;) Thanks! Josh…”

Here is my answer to this curious dude. I thought of sharing it here since many people seem to have the same questions, more or less.

A: “Hey Josh, I’m fine. Thanks for asking! You can safely tell your friends that I used absolutely zero supplements all the way from 60kg to around 83kg. I did use some weight gainer powder from 55 to 60kg, but that’s how I realized that I don’t really need them. They are merely calories in the form of powder, for easier consumption for people that have reached their solid food cap. You really don’t need them if you want to get bigger or fitter, but they can be pretty helpful at times. I mean, if you have a stressful job (don’t!) and no time to cook or something, you can easily grab a meal replacement snack or shake and get the deal done. Up to you, but you can certainly do awesomely well without them. Just my two cents, Regev.”

I hope that resonates with you all. If not, again, drop me an email for more specific directions. My email, again, is regev (at) freshbeetle (dot) com. Do not hesitate to contact me on any occasion, as strange as you think it is. Life is short, conquer the opportunities.
